Account Settings

This article defines how users can manage their account preferences, from language to unit and currency settings and password resets.

How can I change the tool's language?

We currently support English and German language. 

  1. Click on the bubble with your initials in top right corner.
  2. Select "Account" and "Language" and select your preference.

 

 

 

How do I change the units from Metric to Imperial?

  1. Click on the bubble with your initials in top right corner.
  2. Select "Units" and toggle between Metric or Imperial.

Note: When uploading your portfolio and asset data (see step-by-step guide here), make sure you select the correct units in onboarding Excel - "welcome" sheet as well to avoid wrong numeric conversions in the tool.

 

How do I change the local currency? 

You can select your local currency when you initially onboard your portfolio (see step-by-step guide here). In the sheet "Asset-Data" in Column I, you can choose between CHF, EUR, USD and GBP.

Important: There is no way to change the currency later in the platform yourself. If you need to convert currencies, please contact support@optiml.com and we can help you out! 

 

How can I change my Account password?

  1. Click on the bubble with your initials in top right corner.
  2. Select "change password" to receive a password-reset email to your email account. Please make sure to check your spam folder as well.

Important: The password-reset link is only valid for 24 hours. Please request a new change of password beyond this timeframe.
