Q: Do you consider CRREM CO2 paths?

A: Yes, we have integrated both the 1.5°C CO2e and 2.0°C CO2e reference paths of CRREM in our product. They are dynamically computed based on the use types in your portfolio.

Q: What quality of 3D building models do you provide?

A: This depends on the product tier (overview here).

  • Rapid assessment is based on 3D building models in LoD 1.2 and in Switzerland even 2.0-2.2 depending on the region.
  • Future proof-strategies is based on 3D building models in LoD 1.2 and in Switzerland even 2.0-2.2 depending on the region.
  • Integrated planning is based on 3D building models in LoD 3.2. Optiml is able to import around 25 file formats of existing meshes on the clients side, including .gbxml files.

Q: Can I change the zonal representation of what is cooled, heated or ventilated in the building?

A: Yes, with our Integrated Planning tier we provide detailed zonal representation of your assets.

Q: Can I represent a detailed 3D model incl. floor plans and zone types?

A: Yes, with our Integrated Planning tier we create a Digital Twin for you based on floor plans and zonal information.

Q: Can I adapt the u-values in the tool?

A: Customizability of strategy outputs on the asset level will be available soon.

Q: Can I represent vacancy of my asset, so that I have better overview on the cashflows and the energy demand vs. consumption data I have?

A: We currently do not support zonal representation of vacancy for financial planning. However, it is coming in 2025!

Q: Do you validate the energy data I onboard and show me how much it differs from simulation results?

A: We are currently working on a representation that allows you to compare simulation with reported energy consumption. Stay tuned!

Q: Can you help me validating the confidence level of my asset? I need to understand where I should try to find better information.
A: Yes, we are currently working on implementing a data confidence score, that will help you to see the gaps and prioritize which ones to fill first!
